Move over Lion King - there is a new King of the Internet Jungle – and it came from a strange mating – an 800 lb gorilla and a 5 ton elephant.
Introducing – The Gorelephant – better known as Google. The unstoppable, overpowering business entity with the long memory.
Get ready folks – because this is one animal not to be messed with. If you tangle with it, you may get run over like a bulldozer handles a sapling – or at best, your encounter won’t be forgotten easily. See, the Gorelephant likes to dine on as much information as it can ingest – and then regurgetates it all back up. It is powered by the strongest energies on the planet and it has a considerably brash intolerance for people trying to mess with it.
Once you’ve crossed paths with the Gorelephant, in a good or bad way, it will never forget and it will tell all others who ask what it know about you. Be sure that it may remember things in new orders, based on how much it knows, but it will never forget.
Check out our post that continues this thought in about one week, “Taming the Gorelephant” – a Personal Branding Guide to treats to feed the Gorelephant to help your online brand grow and not be crushed.

Thanks Luke – appreciate the comment – and yes, there are other entities to consider, but with Google being the “current king” I thought they fit well with this idea and new animal.
There are many powerful search entities out there now with more showing up each day – it is one of the many reasons why we need to have such care about our personal brand online.
